Steps

    Sign in at privacy.apple.com.

  2. 02

    Request a copy of your data.

  3. 03

    Select iCloud and App Store activity at minimum.

  4. 04

    Confirm the request. Delivery can take up to 7 days.

  5. 05

    Download when Apple notifies you — prefer a trusted device.

Stay safer while you wait

  • Apple emails the ready notice — use a library if that inbox is watched.
  • Do not open the archive on a phone someone else checks regularly.

When the file is ready

  • Run the check when the archive arrives, or save the zip to USB until you can.
  • Change Apple ID password from a clean device if findings worry you.
